Its efficiency is rated at a solid 4.45 km/kWh. For charging, it uses a 400V architecture. In Europe, it would feature a CCS Type 2 port. AC charging maxes out at 11.5 kW, meaning a full charge takes about 12.5 hours at home. On the go, it can handle DC fast charging up to 215 kW, replenishing the battery rapidly for long journeys.

While the Rivian R1T has not yet been officially rated by Euro NCAP, it comes comprehensively equipped with a standard suite of advanced safety systems.
