Here is the summary of the YouTube video review: - The MG4 X-Power is the most expensive version of one of the cheapest EVs. - It has super car acceleration, which is silly, but it’s not silly in a charming way. - The standard MG4 was a total game changer. When it arrived in late 2022, there were no sub 30,000 GBP electric cars with room for four adults and good range. - All of the features that made the MG4 great are still present in the X-Power. - It has an electric car architecture and proper space in the front and the back. - The X-Power has heated features, wireless charging, and phone connectivity. - The cabin is clean and simple, and the steering wheel is great. - One con is its less than premium touching points, and a sluggish and cumbersome infotainment system. - The X-Power costs 36,495 GBP. - Negatively, the car has a slightly frumpy appearance, it’s boxy, with weird jutty-outy bits, and the back-end is a little troubling. - For the base version of the MG4, it’s okay in terms of look, but for the X-Power version, it’s underwhelming. It does have orange caliper covers. - The point of the car, outside of motorbikes, is there is nothing that goes faster from a standing start for less money. - But the cars acceleration and straight-line speed without any handling to match is just a party trick. The car doesn’t have handling and tactility. - It just goes in a straight line very fast. - One minor point, the steering assist is homicidal, and is always back on when you get in. - Another minor detail is that you need to push the top of the screen to turn the dash board lights on or off. The infotainment screen is too sluggish. - The reviewer would not recommend this car, but would recommend the regular version of the MG4 instead. - Acceleration without handling is just a part trick, and making going slow fun is important, which is what the CaRICE TC2 represents. The X-Power is the polar opposite, it makes going very quickly quite dull. - There should be less horsepower and more effort put into tactility of these cars.
